About me
Hello, I'm Baharak, also known as Amara SpringAs a painter, photographer, and writer, I explore the intersections of emotion, memory and social commentary. My art exists in the balance between what is visible and what lies beneath the surface, inviting to delve into the layers of both the obvious and the hidden. paintings are influenced by abstract expressionism, merging real-life elements with deeper visions often defy description. Some works convey clear messages to me, while others reveal unexpected meanings long they’re finished.
I’m captivated by themes of feminin, identity, and the emotional journeys we embark on both individually and. I primarily use acrylics and am currently experimenting with oil paints, embracing process and allowing my work to evolve alongside my own journey. In photography, I capture ephemeral moments that evoke cinematic feelings—scenes from a film that feel familiar yet elusive. My images play with light, shadow, and mood, crafting narratives without words that communicate profound.
Finally, my writing serves as subtle thread connecting all my creations. It allows me to express my thoughts freely and explore the inner dialogues that often inform my visual art. Writing grounds me and articulates emotions that might otherwise escape the canvas or lens. For me, art transcends and technique; it’s about connection. It’s about transforming the intangible into something that others can feel, relate to, or question. you’re viewing my paintings, browsing my photographs, or reading my words, I hope you discover that resonates and stays with you.
